Mick Meredith – Headliner
With over a quarter century on stage Mick Meredith is part joke teller and part guitar slinging song monster. Mick’s shows are a rapid-fire comical commentary of stories, songs, gags and guitarings. Mick began his musical to comedy journey at the legendary Sandringham Hotel, Newtown in the 80’s playing in rock bands before switching to comedy in the 90’s.
Micks’ ability to entertain any audience from teens up to nans & pops is something not every comic can do and surely proves what a versatile act he truly is.
Mick Meredith is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians for the past 20 years and one of the countries leading musical comedy acts with appearances all over Australia and internationally from PNG to Egypt.
Mick has appeared on film, TV and radio including The Footy Show, Mornings with Kerri Ann, Thursday Night Live, Joker Poker, The Comedy Channel, Stand-up Australia, Triple M, 2GB, 2DAY FM The Sydney Cracker Festival Gala, The Darren Sanders Show, Talking Comics and feature films Pitbulls, Bloody Hell and Footy Legends. As well as LG, Picnic, Nicorette, KFC and AAPT commercials and featured comedian on The Footy Shows best of the comedians DVDs 1 and 2.
The highlight of Micks’ career has been shows abroad for the Aussie armed forces and federal police in East Timor and Cyprus and for 25 different nationalities in The Sinai in Egypt.
David Smiedt – MC
David Smiedt has been delighting audiences around the country and overseas with his brand of warm inclusive comedy for over 12 years and is now one of Australia’s finest comedian MC’s and corporate performers.
David is a regular on television shows such as Mornings with Kerri-Ann Sunrise, The Today Show, Ready Steady Cook and having appeared on Stand Up Australia he is also the author of six humorous books.He also is a writer for a wide range of magazines including Elle, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Body & Soul and Vogue where he specialises in a humorous take on style health trends and celebrity profiles. Aside from being the current grooming editor for GQ magazine he is the only journalist in Australian publishing history to be in concurrent issues of lads-mag Ralph and Your Garden.
David opened for Joan Rivers during her Sydney theatre run Mark Watson’s Sydney festival season and Martin Short’s Melbourne Crown Casino performances.
Harry Jun – Feature
Harry JunHarry’s comedy has been described as “energetic”, “likeable” and “cheeky”. He hopes that one day it is described as “funny” or “something that his parents are proud about”.
Harry is a keen performer who has made his way to nearly every comedy gig in Sydney. Sometimes he is even asked to perform at them. Harry has performed interstate in venues across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
In 2019 Harry was a RAW Comedy NSW State Finalist. He also debuted his solo comedy show ‘Did You bring Enough for Everybody?’ which he performed over three nights at The Factory Theatre during the Sydney Fringe Festival.
Also in 2019, Harry was called “a little bitch” by a student at the school he teaches at. Life is full of peaks and valleys.
